PhotoPass question

I think I read somewhere that you could purchase a prepaid photopass. I checked on disneyphotopass.com but there was no information on it. Did I miss understand what I read or can you get a prepaid photopass? Where do I find out the information on it, i.e. cost, how it works,etc? Please help. Thank you muchly, Mary

I just sent you a PM with the link. You pay for it before your trip and they give you a code. When you get home you can go online and view your pictures, add signatures, etc. When you order it this time you enter the code they sent you and you are not charged.

You will get 3 emails when you pre-order the PhotoPass CD:

1) Disney's PhotoPass Order XXXXXX Confirmation
This one has your total and shipping info in it.

2) Do Not Delete! Instructions for your Disney's Photo CD enclosed
This one has complete instructions on what to do and how to do it, and the promotional code that you use when you finalize your order after you come home.

3) Disney's PhotoPass Order has Shipped
This is something of a glitch in the system; nothing has actually shipped, but when you finalize an order on the Disney PhotoPass system it automatically sends you a confirmation email.

When you get home from WDW, you enter your PhotoPass cards into your account normally, do your edits, cropping, borders, etc., and when you are finished you actualy place an order for your CD. But when you place the order this time, you enter the promo code from the 2nd email, and it charges you nothing, because it knows by the promo code that you have pre-paid for your CD.

At this point you'll get another pair of emails:

4) Disney's PhotoPass Order XXXXXX Confirmation
This one shows a CD order of $124.95, plus $2.49 shipping, then discounts it all and shows a total of $0.00.

5) UPS Ship Notification, Tracking Number blahblahblah
This one is the ACTUAL notice that your CD has shipped, and includes the tracking number.

And a few days later, your CD will show up in your mailbox.

Thanks everyone for the info. Thinking about doing this for our Dec 2008 trip since I have talked DH into going. I usually take the pictures and am seldom in them. I need real proof for everyone that he actually went.

Does anyone know of any current promo codes for ordering from the photopass website? I tried googling for some but I didn't find any current ones.
