Photopass photography before park opens?

I tried to search to see if this question had been asked before but didn't find anything so here goes

We have upcoming CRT reservations at 8:05 am and MK opens at 9:00. Will there be Photopass photographers at the park as we walk to our ressie at the castle to say, take our picture in front of the castle, or will that be too early to expect photographers to be there?

They are not normally out then. From most reports I have seen, they don't come out until a bit before 9 AM - I think I've seen people post that it's closer to 8:50 or so.

They may not be out but I am willing to bet someone would be glad to take a picture for you. It's definately an experience to be on Main Street before it's officially opened.

I have the most awsome picture of me sitting on the ground on main street with no one around and the casle in the background. my husband actuall took it... I am sure someone would be willing to take a pciture if you bring a camera.

I do an early ADR at CP on every trip. I am always at the park well before it opens for early ADRs. I would say the photopass photographers are usually not out right away but come out within a few minutes. If you take your time walking up Main St you might see them out.

We saw Photopass Photographers out in MK when we had an early ADR (8:10) at Crystal Palace on our last trip. The normal "full staff" that is out at park opening may not have been out, but we had several pictures taken of our family in front of the castle before we had breakfast with a fairly empty park. It was great!!

It is possible the photopass photographers will be out...when we did 8:05 ADR at Crystal Palace last May (mid-May, not a holiday or busy time at all) there were two photopass photographers set up on Main Street at 7:45...one about 1/2 way up Main Street so you'd get the "distant" castle pic, and one up by the statue so you get the "big" castle in the background. Lots of people were taking advantage of the photogs being out. This was not an early EMH day...so the photographers were out & ready to take pictures 75 minutes before the park opened. When we came out of Crystal Palace at about 8:45, there was actually a line a people waiting for pics by the photographer near the hub.

Smitty, let us know. I would love a pic like that on our next trip though people are right that you only have to ask another guest or CM to do it and they will.
