I'm trying to make a photopass photobook today. I want to upload our own photos to use along with the photopass photos. The problem is that it still has 500 of our own uploaded photos showing from our trip a year ago. I can not figure out any way to delete them. I can't pull them up anywhere but the book creation software in the new system- and there is no delete for them individually or as a group there. I don't want to have to sift through all those to find this year's photos that I upload or to get them mixed up. Thought maybe someone on the Dis could help- me figure out how to delete them or tell me it is a glitch with the new system and I am stuck. :eek: I can't call photopass IT today because they don't have Sunday hours, and of course there is a photopass book that expires tonight!

Also, when I do try to upload new ones from this trip, instead of batches like it used to upload, it now is making me do them one at a time unless I want to highlight a whole section without skipping any (and since I can't delete the ones I don't want, I don't want to do that!). Anyone have any ideas how to make any of this go smoother? Thanks!

UGH- Just thought I would report back since I now have the answer to my question.

The answer is once you have uploaded a photo to the Disneyworld photopass website to use in a photobook or other product, you can not delete it. They will stay in your account forever, unless you call them and have their IT delete them. There is no way for the consumer to delete at their end. So, I have to wait a few days for IT to delete the old ones before uploading this years photos and starting my photobook, unless I want to have the 500 old photos in my way and slowing things down as I am trying to create it.

Also- the uploader now works a little differently on the Disneyworld site too, so either I:
1. upload 1 at a time;
2. upload a whole section, even the ones I don't want and be stuck with them because I can't delete the ones I don't want; or
3. move or copy only the ones I do want into their own folder on my computer and then I can upload in groups from there.

I'm picking No. 3.

So...no $15 dollar photobook discount for me because I just gave up yesterday and didn't want the hassle of sifting through last years 500 photos to get to any I uploaded from this year. On the bright side though, because it may take a few days before they get the old ones off, they did extend my photopass photo time out, to get me some extra time to do the photobook.
