Photopass now at DLP.

We love buying the PP at the stateside parks, and didn't understand why they didn't do it over here...(or a much more lacking version, anyway). I hope they'll include CMs though out the park and not just at the mentioned Pavillion and Mickey's location.

Glad to know its going to get better...I have to wonder the cost though, and when it's actually set to begin? :goodvibes

Yeah I hope it's more then just the two mentioned locations. I wonder if they will do the pre pay as well.

This is great news
one of the best things about WDW.
Hope its prepay would love this for our march trip:)

More than overdue! ;)

Now they just need some photographers to wander Main Street!

I noticed this advertised on the most recent park schedule here

Says available throughout the park and hotels - but seems to be more about character photos - I want a castle photo!

Don't get your hopes up too much.

When I was there two weeks ago they had the same advertisement on the program and the paper cards also now say "Photopass". But you still couldn't get the photos on CD, it was paper print outs only. The only change was that the photos were now available for 7 days.

Forgive me if i'm being ignorant but can someone explain this service to me more? :)

I've only ever been to DLP and had photos taken on one occasion which I got print outs for and had little ticket things, and that was at the Princess Pavillion, Cafe Mickey and at meet and greets at the park - was this part of it or was it a seperate thing?

I'm confused  again forgive me if I sound silly!

Yes, those photos are what we're talking about ::yes:: and don't forget, there's no such thing as a silly question on here!

This is how it works at WDW and DL - you get given a plastic card (credit card size) which you hand to the photographer to scan each time he/she has taken a photo. You have the choice of viewing them in the park and buying either a CD with all the photos on or actual prints or both OR you can wait until you get home and edit the photos by adding borders, character signatures, making them black+white, cropping them etc then ordering the CD, actual prints or both. The latter is by far the better way to do it as you'll end up with lots more photos on your CD for no extra cost which you can print up more more cheaply at home plus there's usually an offer on where you can pre-purchase the CD for a discounted price before your holiday.

It doesn't sound like it's going to be the same at DLP though, it just looks like they've replaced the little slips of paper, and the photos are available to view for longer.
