Photopass Discount Plus

Can someone explain how to save my photopass pictures as 4x6? I went to my albums and don't see that option- or any indication of the print size other than on the order form.

Thanks!

Also, there used to be unique borders for each park and I don't see that this time. Are they gone? Last time I added Blizzard beach borders for my blizzard beach photos and I also added Character signatures to my character pictures. Any ideas?

I love the budget boards. I found out about military discounts, getting the biggest bang for your buck on snacks and qsd and the $99 photopass special. Now the 20% discount! How much more money can I save before I go! Thank you so much!

DId you get the code to work? We tried and it wouldn't work

Instead of going to "My Albums", go to Enhance - Disney Photopass Photos. From there, you select the size under the "Product Type". Available borders will show up under "Add Borders", but sometimes the photographer incorrectly codes the photo so the right borders don't show up, and in my experience, there's nothing you can do about that!

Note that the original, unedited picture is scaled to 4X6 if you don't do anything to it, it's just when you add a border or zoom it and do "save as copy" that it defaults to 5X7 unless you specifically change the size under "Product Type".

I tried using the extra 20% off yesterday and it said that the code was invalid. Anyone else have this problem?

Not sure why but I am having a hard time understanding the process of how PhotoPass works? So if I preorder now where do I get the card with the code on it? Also what if I do not like the pics can I get a refund?

Yes you can get a refund if you don't like them.
In the parks htere are photographers. When you see them have them take your picture. the more pics the better the value. They will scan a card after they take your pics. That card has a code that you will enter online when you get home. You can have more than one card, or put them all on one.

Just a heads up for anyone who combined the $99.95 sale price and the 20% off coupon code from FB...

I had purchased the pre-visit CD offer at $99.95 the day before I found this thread, so I followed the idea of another poster. I made another purchase of the CD using the sale price and the coupon code with the intent to call in and cancel the first purchase. It went through no problem, printed the receipt, got a confirmation email, etc. Today, I called to Photopass to cancel my first purchase and was told that my purchase at $79.95 was invalid. He said that when I would have attempted to claim it, it would have given me the error message. Even though everything on my end appeared normal...I had both credits listed in my cart, I had a receipt, they did not contact me to alert me to a problem, etc. He then accused me of manipulating the system since I tried to combine two sale prices! I was irate! I couldn't believe I was talking to a Disney employee, the way I was being spoken to! I'll get over it, but that being said, if you used the code on the sale price, I would call Disney Photopass and make sure your purchase wasn't "invalid". They apparently aren't going to say anything until you try to redeem it, and by then, it will be too late to purchase another pre-vacation offer!

I just got home and checked my account on their website, and it still shows two credits....so I am guessing that won't be my last call to their office, unfortunately.

Best of luck to each of you!

I'm sorry the Photopass person wasn't Magical (or even nice) to you. I wonder why Disney won't at least let you know that the double discount is invalid...

Thanks for letting us know about this. I need to pre-order soon but was secretly hoping for something less than $99 and had missed the FB code ... guess this recent chain of events tells me it's not going to go lower and I should just buy soon.

Wonder what will happen with the people who used the other resort discount and the pre-order discount and paid $49.99 for the Photopass CD?

I guess we all need to keep watch for those who ordered when they actually go to get there CD's. I tend to think that guy was full of crap.

It will be interesting to see what happens with this. The charge still hasn't gone through on my credit card - still shows as pending. If the codes were not combinable, there should not have been a space for PROMO CODE on the checkout page.

I got the initial confirmation email of my order on the 26th...I looked in my Photopass cart and I show a credit. Is that all I need? I didn't get an e-mail with a code to use in the future like I have when I prepurchased in the past???!!

I haven't recieved my email with the code either, this is going to be interesting!

Has anyone else called Disney about this?

still showes pending on my card also. I may try to call today after work... I hate to rock the boat. But I got no email as well.

interesting. I haven't gotten an email either. so I called and a nice CM named Michelle told me that the code PHOTOCD was a test code and wasn't to be out but it was distributed and she said if you used this it will be fine. and no add'l charge would be added when you actually order cd. So apparently Disney is going to honor it for those you used prior to it being stopped.
