A quarter horse can take off from a stand still and is perfect for the quarter mile track. That being said, to me a horse is a horse of coarse of coarse

The modern Quarter Horse has a small, short, refined head with a straight profile, and a strong, well-muscled body, featuring a broad chest and powerful, rounded hindquarters. They usually stand between 14 and 16 hands high, although some Halter-type and English hunter-type horses may grow as tall as 17 hands.[citation needed]

There are two main body types: the stock type and the hunter or racing type. The stock horse type is shorter, more compact, stocky and well muscled, yet agile. The racing and hunter type Quarter Horses are somewhat taller and smoother muscled than the stock type, more closely resembling the Thoroughbred.[citation needed]

That being said, I still don't know what a qtr horse is...

I believe it's considered Media PA. It's at Rose Tree Park just off of Rt 1 and 252. They have concerts and stuff during the summer and it's pretty nice. For the most part it's just a huge open field but if you're ever in the area, check out the Ridley Creek State Park just down the road. That place is HUGE and has all kinds of trails for walking and biking. On the weekends, they have pony rides too.

and I got great shots for a Veterinarian at work LAST week had my horses teeth floated oh well ....Linda you made a great list this is going to be fun

Hey - I luck out! I just had two horses teeth floated last week but have two more to be done in the next month or two.

Linda, this is AWESOME!

Luckily I keep my cell phone with me all the time and it has a decent camera. I think I'm going to make a separate gallery on my smugmug site to keep these pictures in one place.
