Museum- this is our flood museum, dedicated to the great flood of 1889. over 2200 people died as a result of a failed dam

He told me that they are under strict rules that they aren't allowed to do that sorta thing. he was really nice though.. and said 'but if I don't see you take it, I can't know about it can I???' So,that'swhat I did!

Penny Arcade* No longer a dime a dozen, definitely costing more than a penny to play and hard to find. Most of them are hi-tech; but I tracked down one arcade that had these items in it....hope it says "Penny Arcarde" to you too.

Hummingbird* We don't have hummingbirds in Australia - and the only thing that comes close is a Moth!! But whilst I was trawling through the pubs to find a Jukebox, I found the Red Hummingbird lounge.

Great work, PrincessinOz, and this made me LOL.

A good friend of mine who lives in Australia was home visiting this week. We went out to breakfast and I was telling her about you guys! She was very impressed. We'd driven there together, but when I was dropping her off to her car we sat for a few minutes saying goodbye in a spot near a construction zone. The police officer nearby gave us a few minutes but then angrily came over telling me to move. When he came up to the window, he saw we were both bawling and all I could manage to blurt out was, "She's home from Australia" and his whole demeanor changed. He said, "Never mind, ladies, take your time, no worries" and we both started bawling even more seeing his kindness - "That was so nice!" Anyway, it has nothing to do with pictures but I thought you might appreciate it. She gave me a couple of ideas for next year.
