Photographing Pets

Awwww, I have to make sure my husband sees this!

Look a couple of posts up, and you'll see my (now) nine week old Lab, Piper. :)

ETA: Or I guess you can look in my signature... lol.

Your puppy is very cute. They grow so fast it is amazing. Belle is just a little over 9 months old now. And she has been to disney more than most people I know :) Last time they told me she was the only dog in the kennel out of 50 that didn't freak out with the fireworks.

Here is one of my cat Figaro. I took it out in the garden yesterday when I was playing with my new Nikon D40x that had just arrived.

That is a nice picture! Love the animal pics! Great shots everyone... you too Mason lol

Piper is adorable! As Master Mason said, they grow up very fast. Seems like yesterday Emma was just a baby and now she's 5 1/2! Here are some pictures of her from yesterday, she was very happy it was finally warm enough to go swimming again!

The anticipation!!

Thanks - I love watching her lips and ears flap in the breeze and since I had the camera with me, well I had to pull it out. Let me tell you, it's not easy (at least for me) to get the camera to focus on the image in the mirror while the car is moving!

Your shepherd is beautiful - very stately! I hope she had a nice birthday!

You are very lucky to have such a great friend. We lost our last Golden in November - - - very lonely!!!
Yes I am. I love Goldens, and this one is a real sweetheart. I'm sorry about yours. Will there be another one in your future someday?

I don't know what to do - when Skilly (our Golden) was ill we adopted a Treeing Walker Coonhound to be with Skilly - - she did work wonders and Skilly's last three months where full of running - playing with sticks etc. Now we only have Jesse - the coonhound. Jesse had been very abused by some very nasty humans - she is learning to trust - learning to have fun - learning to be part of a family as opposed to being a pack animal. I want her to have that chance before we bring another dog in the home. I think we will wait and probably adopt a rescue Golden at some time - but right now it's Jesse's time - time she was never given for the first three years of her life. I am really trying hard to teach her to be a Golden - they have a lot more loving in life that a coonhound ever gets!!

Just a couple of the Brats from the weekend. :goodvibes
