Well, here are some of my "buddies" Scruffy - was born in a wood pile - along with her litter mates - we were able to adopt all of them out - but Scruffy was convinced I was her "mom" - she looks at me with such adoration - well, I couldn't pass that up - no one else in my family looks at me that way!! The other three are brothers, Minnie, Beau and Tigger and they were at least six months old when we got them - they have been a lot of work to socialize - but are now great, great cats!

These guys are adorable all lined up in a row!! And oddly, my mother has the same EXACT couch as yours!! Go figure. Good for you to rescue them. We have 2 cats (brother and sister) that were tiny little kittens my husband rescued from high up a tree. We've had them for about 13 years now.

Hubby finished putting together the support for our Cardinal seats and Scamp got to take them for a test drive.

I managed to get a shot of his face by holding the camera down at my waist!

Thank you Mischa!! We love her to death! She is just the sweetest girl! We had a male that we lost to bone cancer before we got Bea. They just have the best personality. She does such a good job putting up with Lucky who has no concept of his size!! Nice to hear others spread the good word about rotties! They are not always what you see in the movies and the news.

You are so welcome DznyDreamz - we loved our Mitzie the same way! Most Rotties have such a bad rep - but they shouldn't; most just want to please their owner. Our Mitzie was the biggest baby, yet the best protector. She was very "mother-hennish" We adopted her when she was two years old (and already had 2 litters - the folks who had her basically used her for pups). Once she found two baby bunnies (she happened upon Momma Bunny moving her babies and scared off momma - who dropped her babies.) The bunnies were so tiny and couldn't even see! Mitzie sat by them and whined until my DH came to her "rescue". We ended up giving the bunnies to a lady that rescued wild animals. We lost Mitzie on October 23, 2004 - one of the saddest days of our life.

Ash, the tuxedo cat thought it was more fun to chew on his hat instead of wear it and when we kept trying he figured it might be even more fun to chew on us! I think I'll Photoshop the eye patch in.

I'm loving all the photos of your pets! I'm such a softie!!

Here is Charlotte, with Santa. Now, I didn't take the photo, but the RSPCA every year does a "Santa Paws" fund raiser just before Christmas. The line up to get in for this photo was amazing - I waited over an hour!! There were all sorts of dogs, plus (in another area ) people also brought in their cats and hamsters!! Just thought I'd share a seasonal shot!!

It's not a great shot of Charlotte, but Santa is in perfect focus!!!

What a beautiful girl you had! Thats a great story. My prior rottie, Murphy, discovered a tiny baby kitten who had meowed so much she was horse. She was black as night and I never would have seen her myself. Well, we rescued her and she was our wedding gift from Murphy since it was just days before our wedding. For such "savage" dogs, they sure can be very gentle! He just wouldn't leave her and nuzzled her. Too bad there are people out there that do not cast the best light on the breed. Beatrice goes to my daughter's soccer games and ends up covered with kids and she smiles from ear to ear. The parents of the other kids however aren't always so keen on it.
