I LOVE this! S/he looks like it's laughing at something.

I had the best time snapping pics of the oranutangs that day. They had just gotten fed so there was a lot of activity around the food, PLus there were a couple babies that provided a lot of entertainment.
DH and DS finally had to pull me away to go see the rest of the zoo.
Here are a couple more....

Here's one of my daughter meeting one of my mom's horses. I probably should not have told her that the horse thought her blonde hair looked like hay. :rolleyes1

:lmao: That is FUNNY! You mean Dad. ;)

I am a preschool teacher and each year we plan a field trip to Ownes Spring Creek Farms (Owens/Bob Evans restaurant) to see the animals they have there.

Last year when we were listening to the tour guide tell us about the HUGE Belgian Draft horses one of them walked over to the gate and tried to sample the "hay" looking hair on one of my students. It didn't hurt her at all - but she did walk around with a wet slobbery head for a while.

I was thinking more a release from the artist for you to reprint their work, not a model release.

Does the SPCA require me to have a release from my cats? :rotfl: Yeah. I guess I could rub their paw in some non toxic ink and stamp it on there!!! :rotfl2: THough they are underage so I would be their legal guardian so the paw inking my not be necessary! :lmao:

OK. I will be chuckling about this one all night.

Fine. Laugh at the ignorant calendar lady. :p :rotfl:

I know what I meant, but it just came out wrong. I meant a specific release from the photographer, but it sounded like I thought I needed a release from the subject. Either way, I am just going to go on assuming that whoever posts to the thread I've started, that they've given me permission. Nyah.

I appreciate your kind words and book suggestion. I picked up that one up at the library it was helpful. I also checked out Mr. Roger's book on pet loss and found his no-nonsense approach helpful as well.

Our experience was that the kids recovered more quickly than the adults did. We just lost Becky in February. She would have been 15 in October, but she's 12 or so in the picture below

Here are my furbabies

BRODY - He is 2 right now and will be 3 in October

PHOENIX - She is 5 right now and will be 6 in September

I really like the colors in this photo. I also got a chuckle out of peekin Bella, LOL.

I notice I'm drawn to a lot of the cat pictures here - and I don't even have a cat! :scratchin

Thanks!!! These are the tones in my living room. Warm colors. Sassy is SASSY too. Her name fits her perfectly! :goodvibes

Here's a funny one of Princess - she's a lab/weimeramer mix, and she does not realize she is a DOG. She even talks to me..... you have to see it/hear it, but it is very funny! Here she is napping. She recently has started standing by the bed at night whining like she has to go out and when I get up to let her out she JUMPS in my spot in bed.....:sad2: the bed that is most nights also shared by DD, our yorkie, and a any given time one of the four cats...... I am on to her now and unless she is standing by the outside door (there is a slider from the MB to the pool & one from the MBath too), I don't get up.

This is my first post on the photographyforum. I've been playing around with my camera the last couple of days and took these pictures of my Sheltie. He's extremely camera shy so I really had to work to get these.

Beautiful wdw4life! Welcome to the Photography Board, and thanks for posting. Hope to see more of your pictures.

Thank you Pea-n-Me! I love taking pictures of my pets but none of them like the camera. I have fun trying though so I hope to post more often.
