Beautiful photos!

Brack, congratulations on your new baby. It will be a tall order to follow Jo Jo, won't it? :littleangel: It looks like he is off to a good start. Do you mind if I ask what happened to his eye?

That reminds me - I've got to get started on my Christmas card photos, too!

When we adopted him they told me he came from a shelter in MS where he was about to be put down and his eye was "damaged". The doctors felt that it should be removed. There were no details.

He has been my sanity salvation. Since losing JoJo I was always so sad. Phineas makes me smile again.

Here are my furry kids.

Rayne. She's a bit of a nut, and no this photo hasn't been edited. That's her tongue. I think she was trying to start a snowball fight?

I think it looks like she's catching snowflakes on her tongue. I love all the cute animals on here, especially the dressed up ones. The cats all look like they're gonna hurt someone when they are dressed up.:)

I agree. A 'like' button would be great for this thread!:thumbsup2

I'm very sad to say that we lost a wonderful girl yesterday (my husbands "BEST FRIEND" of 16 years.... Dixie our 16 year old Pit Bull, went to be with our "Cookie Dog" in Heaven...we are broken hearted beyond decription...

RIP Sweet Dixie Girl...

until we meet again, on that Rainbow Bridge.....

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
