Photographic Service at Disney

We're planning a Grand Gathering for February for all of my family - 21 of us! I've recently read about a photographic service that Disney provides that will take your picture anywhere on the property by appointment. Has anyone here ever used this service? If so, how was the experience, price, and quality of the pictures? Thanks for your help.

I have posted a copy of the Disney Event Productions' price brochure (click here) in my on-line album. Basically, the “Candid Photography” package includes a “roaming” photographer who takes candid photographs throughout the event. There is a 2-hour minimum for the photographer’s services, and the cost is $95 per hour. Since my event was going to last 3 hours, I wanted a photographer for all 3 hours.

we had family portraits done by the disney photography service in may. i know they take group family shots of grand gatherings as well... i didn't know if you were interested in having a photographer there shooting events, or have portrait style pictures done of the family.

we had a good exp, ours were done in epcot before it opened, throughout the countries. the photographer we had was very nice and had a good idea. it is pretty pricey, but since it was once in a lifetime and we couldn't figure out a cheaper route, it was worth the $. i honestly can't remember how much it was, plus my mom is a cast member and had a discount on things. few hundred dollars, i believe. when looking at their samples, they had LOTS of grand gathering pics, huge families - they all looked good. i think they'll also allow some splitting of families, too, in addition to the huge pictures.

quality was good, service was good. call them and they can give you a website to check out with examples =) all pics were posted online for us to view and order prints of.

I am completely computer illiterate, but I clicked the "download" button at the top of the picture of the brochure, and my computer prompted me to choose a program to open the file with(I chose Explorer because that sounded good!). Once I opened it, I clicked the little arrow in the bottom corner of the picture, and this enlarged the brochure. Hope that helps!
