Photographer Problems

Hi,

I've just been emailing my rep at Virgin about the photography packages included in my intimate wedding and I quote i was a bit shocked to have just been told the following:

In the Disney wedding package you will get 12 photos included in the package which will be of the arrival of everyone to the wedding. If you want further pictures for throughout the ceremony then we need to select an additional photo package which should be highlighted in the confirmation letter.

I'm sure it didn't state that in my confirmation letter both my other partner and myself read it to say that disney do 12 photo's and you get proofs from wedding and then there was a section on virgin's own photography..

I know it seems like a winge but there is about 5 months to my wedding i now need to find a photographer!!!!

If anyone has used the Virgin package could they let me know if they were any good or if there are any other suggestions i would be most grateful...

I used Randy Chapman for our intimate wedding, and he was great. he took tons of pictures, and wasn't strict at all about the 2 hrs that he alloted. We took pics at WL on the balcony, then in the lobby, and then outside. Thenwe headed to the Poly and took pics by the mirrors in the lobby, then out on the beach. He was great to work with, and a great guy. Very good prices, also.

I've managed to contact Randy and he has the date free so if everything works out well we will be booking with him.

Just one other question though - What do i do about the photography package included in the Virgin package can i redeem that against anything else!!!

They will do the Honeymoon photo shoot w/ 20 pics for $50 in stead of the wedding photos or you can trade it for a discount on the MK session in wedding attire but I don't know what the cost for that is. Good luck.
