Photobucket Question- uploading a picture at a larger size

This isn't a DIS issue, but I'm hoping a user will have some insight.

I used to be able to specify a large size when uploading photos (by clicking on a gear shaped icon) but a few months ago, the Photobucket interface changed and I can't figure out how to upload at different sizes. I have also tried to go to the picture and manually change the size, but that isn't working either. It says the size I have is the largest allowed.

I post the monthly activities calendar on the Yacht & Beach Club FAQ, but I haven't been able to post a size that is easy to read in a few months.



When I try to do a direct upload from the scanned image I have, it is too large for the DIS, and when I resize, it is no better than what I am able to get from Photobucket.

What happens if you skip Photobucket altogether and use the 'Upload a File' button here in your reply? That gives me the option of using a thumbnail or a full-size image.

Thank you so much for the suggestion. This is what I am able to get with a direct upload. I had to resize to 25% because the file at 100%, 75% and 50% were all too large for the server to process.



It is a bit larger than the best I can do with Photobucket, so I will go with that.

From my research on the Photobucket it looks like the size I have in my first post is the largest I can get now.
