I just returned from a 5 night cruise on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas and would like to share some photos with you. I hope you enjoy them.

The Liberty of the Seas sailed from Port Everglades

There were 8 ships in port that day - beating the world record for most passengers.

We got to see the Oasis of the Seas sail out as well

Nice photos.

However, why does Po appear to be flipping the camera off?

Looks like you had a wonderful time, thanks for sharing.

great pictures Mike!!! (where's Shelly?)

that ship looks absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!

by the way, how long does it take to tender everyone from a ship that size?

I didn't want to post photos of Shelly without her permission on the boards. Photos with her are in my private album I sent to relatives and friends.

It takes about 25 minutes from ship to shore in Belize. It's quite a ways. It took quite a while to get everyone off and they were boarding two tenders simultaneously.

Thanks. Shelly may chime in to give her comments, but I think she had a great time.

Johnny Rockets on board the ship has a $4.95 service charge for all you can eat, basically. I had chili, fries and onion rings (shared with Shelly), a burger and the sundae (also shared) all included. Drinks and milk shakes were the only additionally priced items.

The sundae was an Oreo fudge sundae. Mmm mmm mmm.

Spectacular pictures Mike. Glad you enjoyed yourself.

No pictures of the Clight??? :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I did have an amazing time!! It was very relaxing week and went by waaaayyy to fast!! It was one of the best non-Disney vacations I've ever had and I would do it again in a heartbeat!! Not to mention that I got to spend the week with Michael and six new friends who are just as crazy and fun as he is!! We definitely need to do it again!!

I'll post some of my pics when I get them uploaded but one of my favorite pics is now my profile pic on FB!

that's sounds really reasonable!! was it difficult to get a table?
how does it work on RCCL with the special restaurants? do you just walk up or do you make reservations?

You both look fantastic and you can tell what a good time you're all having!!!
the setting of johnny rockets is gorgeous - sitting there with the view out on the ocean...really stunning!!

was the ship very crowded? did it seem crowded? did you have to stand in a lot of lines?
my sister was on one of the RCCL ships that sailed out of miami a few years ago and she complained to me that they had to stand in lines all the time.....
but she has this tendency to exagerate 'a bit'.... ;)

We just walked up to Johnny Rockets and got a table without a problem. They had indoor seating as well. We did make reservations for Chops Grill, the shows and had the same dining every night in the dining room. Guests with "My time dining" did have to wait in lines at the dining room.

The lines we waited for were not bad at all. The longest was the tender to go to Belize.

The ship didn't seem crowded to me. It was busy at times, but there were always spaces you could escape to.

I loved walking on the top deck st night and looking st the stars. Not many people were around then.

i'm starting to think RCCL is better for me than DCL....
i never seriously considered it before, but the last few weeks i've been helping DD plan her trip to Alaska, including a cruise...
in the end, we both decided that the best option for her was with RCCL...
and the more we've researched the ship, the more i've come to believe it would be the better option for DH and me as well....just seems to be more aimed at adults than DCL.....i feel like a traitor saying that, but it seems that way...of course, i haven't been on an RCCL ship yet, so i don't know....but i'm thinking of trying...
the fact that it's cheaper than DCL doesn't hurt either..
