Can you do a MK shoot for engagment if your not getting married at Disney???? and if yes what are the prices?????

I think you can, but it would be during park hours, not before opening like the bridal shoot. You would have to wear regular "street clothes", not like a formal, and you would likely have others in your shots in the back ground etc... Like when they do honeymoon shoots.

Will they still let you do engagement shoots in the park? I thought i read that they will only do then around the resorts now? Please let me know if i'm wrong because that could change a few things.

Disney Event Photography offers a $310 engagement/anniversary/just married photo shoot in street clothes at the resorts or at Epcot, and anyone can do it. You don't have to have been married at WDW. However, they won't do it at the other parks anymore because they can't get in before the parks open and they say there are too many other people in the shots.

You can also do the full-on bridal portrait session inside any park *except* the MK even if you weren't married at WDW. That's $650, and you can wear formal attire.

Disney's PhotoPass also offers private photography sessions for $50-$100, but they are all just at the resorts too. But I've heard of couples getting an in-park PhotoPass person to follow them around to various attractions and take their picture, so maybe you could do it that way.

I am saving my pennies for my formal bridal shoot in mk than since I can;t get married in Disney I want pictures in Disney world with my formal clothes. Thank you ladies.

Ooh - sorry if my post was unclear. MK bridal shoots are open only to those who have had Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings. :sad2: But at least they now let everyone else take bridal portraits in all the other parks - that used to be restricted too. :thumbsup2

MK Bridal portraits are only for couples who have had a Disney Fairy tale wedding. But you can have formal bridal portraits in Epcot without having been a DFTW bride, which I think is beautiful.
