This is a blue faced honey eater in my back yard - they are so pretty and love the nectar in all the native trees.

This is Charlotte playing with her favourite toys - a Christmas squeaky toy (minus the squeak now!! ) and a tennis ball!!!

I loved seeing the bats in Austin. My pics aren't nearly as good as yours. The only thing I didn't like about the bats is the smell.

...and I really probably shouldn't post this one in the same post as that darling baby, but what the heck. A few pages back, I posted a few pics of my rooster and then one of the rooster being upstaged by Clyde, my parents' turkey. I was out at their house again yesterday, fooling around with my camera (the AF went out on my 1st Canon XS 100IS, so I was able to exchange it for a new one and want to be sure the same thing isn't gonna happen this time!) and happened to catch Clyde when he was feeling a little emo, apparently.

Verry nice pictures. I really liked them. Verry pretty.

Playing around with my 30 1.4 and rotating the camera to get a different effect. Shooting wide open just to see what I can get. And all I can tell you is that this is the face of one very bad yellow monster.

The more I use this lens, the more I like it.
