Wow my2girls, you just took me back to high school. I spent 3 summers working at Prescott park doing lighting and costumes for the shows. I also lived in a house that probably would have been in your picture had it been day time! Thanks! Great shot!

QUOTE=My2Girls66;27324249]I have trouble getting decent shots of the moon but this one came out ok. Portsmouth Harbor after watching the play Beauty and the Beast at Prescott Park(awesome show, btw).
Last week when the remnants of Gustav were parked over the Midwest we had 3 straight days of clouds and rain. Friday, when it finally started to move out, this is what the clouds looked like. I had never seen anything like it, the clouds looked SO dense and compact, and there was such color variation from the dark gray at the bottom to the white at the top in such a short height. And the way they just broke off at the edge, almost like a cliff, it was an awesome sight. (taken from the car on our way to a football game)
That was the last time I used my PnS, then on Sat I got a new 40D and took this one while out on the lake fishing.
Beautiful Pictures everyone. Jeff, that night shot on the beach is stunning. Michele, those cloud walls are awesome although they look a bit intimidating. Here's one I took at the local state park this past weekend. Thanks to everyone for sharing such wonderful photos.

I went to the Falls again the other day with my parents and my son. We went on the SkyWheel and to see the butterflies. I got a lot of really awesome shots, so it was hard to just pick a couple! I will warn you though- if you're squeemish about bugs, I got some close ups of the butterflies.
I spent an hour stalking hummingbirds in my Mom's backyard. I didn't do so good on the exposure, they were only visiting the feeder in the shade. But I like the silhouette shots.
I did catch a few good ones of the birds and butterflies though.
