Are there any "free" photo sharing websites (besides photobucket) that you can recommend?

thanks!

Those that are mentioned are the ones I know about. And if your looking for free they work fine, however, for the few bucks a year that it cost to have your photos at one of the paid sites, to me it is totally worth it.

Smugmug and Zenfolio are the two that I see most often mentioned here, and both of them have free trials to see what you think.

For smugmug if you enter the code HJwjORAaIC4PY when you go for the trial they will give you 5 bucks off the first year.

I am sure someone has a code that will get you the same at zenfolio.

No adds, no resizing of your photos, no deleting your account if you don't go there for a couple of months etc.... plus a permante off site back up of your photos.

This site has a pretty good summary of most of the major (and many minor) photo sharing sites. It also includes pros / cons of each.

snap fish is "kinda" free...i have a couple albums there ( i have some on flicker, photobucket, zenfolio, kodak what ever it's called now,i'm spread all ove the place:lmao: ) and every year i have to buy a print or something to keep them there...they are daughter's stuff so technically it should be her 12 cents or what ever they cost:rotfl: if you use it, you don't have to pay since you are paying via your orders, i just never use it anymore.
most of my stuff is on zenfolio and i really like them, i think the cheapest there is $24 a yr, which isn't really bad. Their CS is fantastic

I agree with Master Mason

this code will get you 5 dollars off at Zenfolio..

If you use smugmug, I believe if you use the code flickr, you will get 50% off your first year. I recently started using smugmug and am very happy right so far.

Google & Yahoo both offer one, as well as Kodak and they are all really easy to use, I like Kodak's the best though as you can download software from them that you can edit your photos and post directly. Of course I think you can now to do that with Googles and Picassa as well.

WOW TY! I just signed up for smugmug and used the code you gave and yeppp, got 50% off!

:goodvibes thanks again!!

Thanks all for all the great new sites, and codes. I'm going to go check them out now.
I know periodically you can get deals on the sites thru Ebates too. ( then you get cash back). www.ebates.com

50% off a pro account (with flickr). What a deal :cool1: .

one thing to be aware of is that zenfolios premium account is normaly 50 dollars less per year than smugmugs top account,

plus whereas smugmug uses ezprints as there foto lab,

zenfolio gives you the option of ezprints or mpix...
