Finally got to test out the 24mm...

Shot this wide open with adapted Olympus Zuiko 50mm 1.4.

Looks good Adam. The second shot demonstrates the rich color rendering of the lens.
Yes and no. The rich color rendering is heavy lightroom processing. But the lens does seem to capture decent resolution and contrast that needs to be brought out. (Contrast +100, vibrancy +15, saturation +5, clarity +20)
It's certainly far better than a kit zoom. But I'm not blown away by the lens yet.
Just wait. It grows on you. I felt the same way until I would later go back and look at them. It's very versatile - try some "macro" shots at wide open or f/2. When bored I put it on a tripod, iso 100 and take indoor shots of all manner of flowers, plants and odd things.
I'll try it more.
I think I've been spoiled a bit by great glass and great sensor.
I'm happy with the a6000 as a "convenience" camera for undemanding situations and a backup camera.
I ordered a gorilla pod.... I'll use it that way as well.
Went out to a jazz bar last night. With my d750, I got shots I never could have gotten with the a6000 and any lens. Flashless portraits shot at very high ISO, that still looked good.
Well that goes without saying. Full-frame better give you better low light shots than aps-c.

Is this the adapted 50mm?
Yes - Olympus Zuiko 50mm f/1.4 OM mount. I think I shot this @ f/2.
It has a very nice rendering of OOF areas and bokeh. It's a fully manual lens?
Yes - MF. Not the sharpest wide open but love the bokeh.
Thanks Harry. I added it in post.Chris, I like the grit in that b&w shot^^^^
