Wahoo! I love me some Lotus. Here's a shot of mine, finally back under its own power after two summers of work. (Funny how much harder it is to work on cars when the kids are around!)
So do I NEED one, those were with my K10D. It has some weathersealing but not with the Sigma 70-200 2.8. The front glass took a mud clod hit and two more on the side of the lens. No damage!!
Well, you could always pick up a K200D for cheap; they are fully sealed. Of course, it would probably make more sense to get a K10D if you're getting one from that era! Either way, the weathersealing is fun!
Lots of car stuff in this thread... less than two weeks until the vintage races at Watkins Glen, I am looking forward to getting back there after missing a couple years!

I guess I have to take responsibility for the car stuff. I have spent the past few weeks working the other side of our complex (Dirt Oval and Route 66 Raceway). We have the first race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup coming up in less than three weeks. Its going to be big with all three national series, three concerts and Wed/Thurs we have the short track off road series! Lots of photo ops. I can't wait to see your shots from the vintage races. Those bring back a lot of memories growing up!
