I'm so new to this that I'm really just getting the *eye* for things that are off in photos, so this may not be the best picture, but in my mind, it was one of the best I took today. It's my friend's dd.

This photo was Taken last fall by my 17yr old DD with her photography class's Nikon D40. This is POLO, she is and Australian Shepard who was born with a Fatal heart defect. Not knowing if surgery would be a success, my daughter did some Puppy Portraits so the owners would always have a beautiful memory of their beloved Polo. Fortunately, surgery was successful, and Polo has been given a clean bill of health. Since this photo shoot and since booking our fall 2009 Disney Land and Sea Vacation, I decided to bite the bullet and get myself a Great Camera vs. a good one. I now have a Cannon (oops not Nikon) Rebel XSI, and learning something new about it every day. (I run a home daycare, so LOTS of photo opportunities!) Thanks for letting me share.
