And no, the picture quality is not that low, it's the scanner that's not so great.
This is from a Nikon N65 with a Tamron 28-80 lens. Found the body for a $1 and the lens a few weeks later for $3. My biggest concern was if the inside of the body was clean, and the pictures would turn out clean as well. The body had no cover, and was pretty dirty.
So I used up the roll pretty fast without too much concern for settings. While I'm enjoying the lighter weight of it (I used to do photopass, that was a D70), changing the setting is a bit different as there's no menu screen to just scroll through.
I love digital just as much as the next person, but I know there's still a few film enthusiasts around, any pointers for taking pictures?
