I'm a newbie to this thread! But a total nikon/photo junkie. ;)
Didn't know there were non-Disney photos being shared here!
Here is my kitty - the always curious Gucci.

This is from my $4 investment.

And no, the picture quality is not that low, it's the scanner that's not so great.

This is from a Nikon N65 with a Tamron 28-80 lens. Found the body for a $1 and the lens a few weeks later for $3. My biggest concern was if the inside of the body was clean, and the pictures would turn out clean as well. The body had no cover, and was pretty dirty.
So I used up the roll pretty fast without too much concern for settings. While I'm enjoying the lighter weight of it (I used to do photopass, that was a D70), changing the setting is a bit different as there's no menu screen to just scroll through.

I love digital just as much as the next person, but I know there's still a few film enthusiasts around, any pointers for taking pictures?

Here is a few from a recent photo outing...a little dragonfly using my finger as its perch..

Just bought our first DSLR on Friday so I am definitely still learning! Got a Nikon D5100 and so far I love it! Can't wait to take it to WDW in August! For now, a shot from my garden will have to do.
