I appreciate the compliment...I just picked up "chubby" a few weeks ago and it already my favorite lens. It's a beast to carry around, but it's worth it once you see the images it produces.

It's been my experience that if you get there first thing in the morning when the zoo opens you have a good chance to see the big cats up and moving around. I have a zoo membership, which allows you to enter an hour early than non-members.

We love our zoo membership. We just don't seem to get going that early!
