As for the camera, call Canon and ask about their loyalty program. You'll be able to get a nice deal on a different camera with a trade-in.

THANK YOU for mentioning the loyalty program. I called last night. I should have my *new to me* (refurbed) 7d early next week, possibly even by the weekend!

Agreed, very nice shots.

One gentle suggestion on the sunset, straighten the horizon and consider moving the horizon up or down a bit (play with the rule of thirds).
