We spent the afternoon touring a abandoned theme park in Berlin on our recent trip there. This is the old log flume loading station. All of the log flumes had cobwebs and dirt all over them. It was such a great opportunity to take photographs and so so creepy.

How funny! I just recently read an article on line about this amusement park!

LOVE photography threads! I love seeing everyone share their hobby/passion.

I have a Canon XSi. Well, it just crapped out over the weekend. :( Not sure yet what I'm going to do about it.

Anyhow, here are some pics I took on a cruise my Moma nd I took earlier this year. They are some of my favorite photos ...

Beautiful shots!

As for the camera, call Canon and ask about their loyalty program. You'll be able to get a nice deal on a different camera with a trade-in.

Agreed, very nice shots.

One gentle suggestion on the sunset, straighten the horizon and consider moving the horizon up or down a bit (play with the rule of thirds).

Keep up the great work and good luck on the camera.

Boris

play with the rule of thirds

I recently learned about this rule from the non-credit photography class I'm taking at my local university. Such a simple rule, that makes a huge difference in the photographs I'm taking :thumbsup2
