This was my first time ever experimenting with light painting, and done with a local photography group.
I used bulb mode, shutter release, and of coarse a tripod. I believe it was a spotlight. We opened our shutters right before they turned on the spotlight. Then they would just randomly squiggle, wiggle, go back and forth with this light over the subject. I had no idea how this would turn out because only a small portion of the scene was lit at any one time. We would then close the shutter a second or two after the light source was turned off.
This was shot with my Canon 70D, Tamron 17-50VC @18mm, ISO 200, 21 seconds.
