Photo sessions offered at the Dolphin/Swan

Has anyone ever had their portraits taken by the photographer at the S/D?

I remember seeing something about it while we were there, but never looked into it.

Just wondering if there are several different packages to choose from.

Just to the right of where you check in at the Dolphin, there was a little desk with info, and a certificate (of which I have in my hands right now) for a complimentary 5 x 7 vacation portrait.

On the certificate it showed different people posed at different locations around thre resort.

I was hoping someone had done this, and would be able to provide feedback and a price.

We had our photos taken by the S/D photographer last year (almost exactly a year ago to the date-was thinking about having them done again for our trip next week and bringing shirts that we can all wear that would be the same since we weren't quite prepared last year and did them on a wim)--

They came out really nice and the photographer did a nice job. She took several pictures outside of the Dolphin. She took one of dd in front of the pointsettia garden (very Xmasy and cute). She took some of our dd alone and some of just dh and I and some of all 3 of us. It was very casual. She had a digital camera and printed them out for us while we were there.

I think we paid $40 all together for several of the poses in different sizes. They had a few different packages. I honestly can't remember the prices. But, I do remember they only took cash or a check, no charges. Don't know if that has changed since they are subcontracted out.

We are seriously thinking of getting it done since we are long overdue for a family portrait! I can't think of a better place to have it taken than around the grounds of the Swan and Dolphin!
