Photo Pass Special Effects... Removed?

I recently went to Disney and went to MNSSHP. During the party I had some photos taken. Some of which had special effects added in. Usually Disney gives you the regular image with no special effect and the special one. For a couple they just have the special effect. One of them covers half of my face, and would be a great photo otherwise. I tried to call the Disney PhotoPass Guest Support, but the wait was over 20 minutes.

Has anyone had luck having a special effect removed? Or do you feel they have the original form they could post on my photo pass account?

We just had one with the hitch hiking ghost by MH and he told us to look scared. We only got that one.

You could use the Missing Photo form on the PhotoPass website to ask them. I've used it to have missing special effects added back in. The form allows you to enter free text so you should be able to explain what the issue is.
