if we pre-order, it won't expire, right? We're not going until next June, but I may go ahead and pre-order for the $99 if it won't expire...

Can the photo pass be used on a Disney cruise too? We are doing a 7 cruise then 5 days in the park.

The credit does not expire. The only thing with a time constraint is if you decide you do not want it afterall, you need to request a refund within 90 days of the PREORDER purchase date.

No. DCL uses a completely separate photo company.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, it's pretty crummy that the preorder is going up $30. I still think it will be worth it because we take long trips and get lots of photos, but I am glad I locked in at the $99 price today.

Wow! That's crazy. I used to combine our WDW PP with DLR (we have AP to DLR) but then last year they changed their policy to charge the WDW price if you had any WDW ones in your order. Problem was I didn't pre-order it last year since I had combined CDs before. And now this...

So I've booked a trip in late Sept. and now have to decide if I should pre-order it now, just in case. Problem is our trip is up in the air right now-not sure if we are going. But since the credit doesn't expire I guess I can use it whenever our next trip is, right?

Hmm, what to do? Guess I'll have to decide by the 21st. I guess it's time to check out Facebook.

I wonder if our photopass was a fluke...we got it one time and didn't buy it because the pictures were awful.

That is a crazy high increase!

Photopass photographers will take photos of you with your own camera for free. And they usually turn out better than the photopass pictures.

Thanks for the head's up We will have a Grand Gathering in April and completely forgot about the PhotoPass I will make sure to pre order it this week!

Thank you for the heads up. I had been planning to pre-purchase for our September trip, but was going to wait until summer until I read this.

It is a "credit" in our cart. Now we are done adding borders and such but can't figure out where you go to order all of those pics from our trip to the preorder CD. And of course it's after 5pm and the guest services at photo pass are closed..................

You just go to products (or something like that) and add a Photopass CD to your shopping cart and the credit will remove the entire price during checkout. You just pay shipping.

ETA: Be sure to save your favorites in multiple sizes because any 4x6 prints with a border will only print correctly in that size (5x7 or 8x10 will cut your borders off).
