Does anyone know about photo pass discounts. I thought that I read somewhere that you could get 20% off a purchase of $75 or more. Help please. I need to purchase mine by June 9 and would love to use a discount.

A Photo Pass is something you get once you get into the parks. It does not cost anything. After you enter the park there are photographers who will take your picture say on Main St. in front of the Castle. After they take your photo they will give you a Photo Pass. Once you receive this pass you can use it in all the other parks for your full length of stay. Say the next day you go to Animal Kingdom, when you approach the photographer give him or her the photo pass first, after they take your picture say in front of the Tree of Life they will give you the pass back. This goes for all the parks. Basically it stores all the pictures you have taken in the parks. There is no limit to how many pictures you have taken. So if you revisit Magic Kingdom you can have your picture taken again. Just hand them the pass. They will tell you that you can view the picture that same day. What some of them don't tell you is that you can view your pictures all at once on your computer when you get home from your vacation! (To me it is better looking at them when you get home to avoid waiting on the long lines in each park.) Once you view your pictures online you can edit them,(crop) add frames etc! It's great. The discount you mentioned is sometimes offered when you purchase your pictures online. Just keep in mind the pictures can be viewed for 30 days, after that they will be gone! Also when you go onto the Photo Pass site you can even send the pictures to family members & friends if you would like(No charge). I hope I did not confuse you . Once you order your pictures they usually arrive within a short time
Also, on the back of the Photo Pass it will give you the info you need to view your photos online. When you get the pass you will see what I mean.

Thank you for your reply. I did, however, know all of the information you so graciously supplied. I am now in the ordering process. I thought that I read a code for a purchase of the pictures. I was just wondering if anyone knew about it. I think that it said 20% off a purchase of $75 or more.

When I was ordering my photos back in Jan/Feb there were some codes--I believe they were listed on the PhotoPass website. I remember one like you mentioned.

I, however, decided it was cheaper for me to buy the CD with all of our photos & print them at home or somewhere like Walgreens. I'm glad I did it that way! Don't know if discounts apply to that or not.

Don't know if this helps, but...You can buy a cd of all your pics, and then own the rights to them (print them out at any photocenter like Walmart, etc) for $99. You can do this at the park, or once you're home. I know the link to the place online is posted at allearsnet.com
