Hiya everyone

Could someone please tell me if when you take your camera's memory card to be developed in Florida, do they give you a CD disc or just the prints? I understand that in WDW they will download pics off the card but was just a bit concerned that when we've had pics developed in Florida before they are alot smaller than ours over here

thanks :thumbsup2

Bump this thread - wondering the same thing. I haven't got a clue how to use my digital camera!?!

Hi Rachael,

Everywhere we have done this they have given us a disc. This included WalMart, WDW itself and a couple of independent (??) photoshops in malls etc.

We always have our photos developed at Wal-Mart and had a CD done at the same time :)

Hi Rachel,

Most supermarkets in America now have digital photo-processing facilities from Publix to wal-mart. You put your memory card into a machine choose prints and can then have a CD produced of all or some as well as prints in a wide variety of sizes. You are correct that the normal size in US is 6 x4 whilst over here we are more used to 5 x 7. If you want a CD it is probably worth "burning" all the pictures as the average CD will take approximately 200 before it's full.

Thanks Gareth, that helps me a great deal. Its quite a new camera (Xmas pressie) so trying to get used to it lol The memory card will hold up to 307 pics so if l try to remember to burn them when it gets to about 200 ish l should be ok :thumbsup2

To add to this, I just wondered how much it costs for photo processing and/or cd burning. :confused3 Can anyone help?

hi
the discs at walgreens are $2.99. i managed to get 260 on a disc. 526mb at normal resolution on a 6 pixel camera. the digital photos are 17 cents each.

I used to take my memory card to the photo shop in MK and they would load the pictures on to a CD. However, it was quite expensive for what it is - something like $15.

Since I bought an iPod photo, now I just download all the pictures from our camera's onto the iPod, and we start with a "clean" memory card each day.

That's a great idea Frances :thumbsup2

I always took mine to Walgreens, it cost $2.99 and they gave us a proof sheet with it and I would always check the disc in their computer before I deleted the card. Great value.
