Photo Assignment June '07: Color

How about getting some color. Great time of the year (at least in the US) as the sun is out for long periods of time, flowers are blooming and our world is full of color. Any type of photo so long as it is bursting with color.

We know that Disney is full of color and it would be wonderful to see some colorful photos if you happen to visit any Disney park or resort this month.

Show us what your camera can do and what kind of color you have in your neck of the woods.

Be as creative as you want so long as it shows off color.

This is from last night at the Rose Festival, a month long festival in here in Portland. I took it without a tripod so it's not as sharp as I'd like but I thought the color fit the assignment.

I really should have used a smaller aperture - this was at 3.5, hence the shallow depth of field. But it IS colorful! (Taken with a Canon S3 IS, Program mode, Shutter 1/160, Aperture 3.5, ISO on Auto.)

Saw the strawberries sitting in the fridge and the yellow bowl on the counter. So I took them outside to see what I could come up with. Not the greatest, but certainly colorful. The sun wasn't very cooperative.
