Photo Assignment June '07: Color

Got this on my way to work last week.

Not a lot of colour around my neck of the woods at the moment, but this was the sky a few weeks ago at sunset - the whole place glowed orange! I'm hoping to get out in the next couple of days with the camera, and this has given me a good excuse to do it! And a subject to take!

Thanks

Very striking photo!!

But I like the colors, so I'll tuck this in for now while I find some new "colors". From my son's school play (He's trying to spot us in the audience as they are taking their bows):

Pretty, Kyle. I lived in Quincy but don't remember a golf course by that name. Is it in Squantum?

No, its fairly new. Do you remember where the Mr Tux is that is right off the express way at Furnace Brook? Well is up behind the Mr Tux. There is a whole new development up there with tons of condo's and a 27 hole golf course with stunning views.

Remember, the idea behind these photo assignments is to go out and use your camera. Try different angles. Maybe take something you though wouldn't make a good picture. Use your imagination. Maybe you've been stuck on AUTO or one of the other preprogramed ICON's. Try using Shutter priority or Aperture priority or even Manual. Switch ISO's. See how your camera works and what you can do with it. It doesn't matter what kind of camera you have. So long as it takes a picture it can be used for the assignment.

Above all,,,,,, Have fun!

For the purpose of education and the benefit of others, please try to include your EXIFdata (ISO, Shutter, aperture, white balance, compensation, any post processing, etc..., you can also include your camera model and if you have dSLR, then the lens you used as well).
