Hi all

I'm getting organised to make my online ADRs for 180+10 days tomorrow. I'm working nightshift so going to have an hour or so sleep then get up, make ADRs and then head back to bed. Think I'll be calm enough to sleep!

Anyhows, back to my query

I want to book 5pmish Ohana's for a day that's beyond my 180+10. The day I can make the ADR I'm going to be out ALL day at my DD's Gymnastics Comp.

I'm going to have to use my mobile!! No access to a computer all day, only iphone internet on probably 3GS, no wifi :(

I can prepurchase an international bundle with orange (I'm on contract with them) for 50 mins for £5. Is this the best way to go?

The number to call would be 00 1 407 9393463? Is this the right prefix code?

Does the Dining Reservation number open at 7am/Midday our time?

Any help is greatly appreciated :goodvibes

Hope your plans are all coming together too!

Yes it is mid-day our time.

You can also do it online if that would help? Just thinking on that, I cant imagine it would have to be you to book it if you were not around, maybe a friend could do it, because after all you just need the reservation number.

Thanks jtlover.

Should have specified, I was looking for confirmation on prefix dialling code.

Unfortunately I won't have access to online booking. Just tried using iPhone Internet and got through to the Beta WDW dining reservation site. There isn't a section for onsite guests booking 180+10 to put in your reservation number.

Thanks again. I will edit my original post to make it clearer the information I need confirmed. :)

We made some of our ADRs over the phone for last August, but used the Disney UK number (0870 2424900 then Option 3) which avoids going through the questions on the US number.

Thanks for that Tony.

Will give that number a try next Wed.

Better phoning a UK number at midday rather than a US number at their opening time ;)

It makes no difference actually. If you call the UK number they transfer your call to the US dining line - which is cool, because there is always someone on the end of the phone to tell you to have a nice day at the end of your call. :rotfl:

Have you ever used an access code? I make loads of international calls and quite a lot of them are to the US. I have used access codes for over a decade and it is going to be cheaper than what you paid for your prepaid bundle, which you can save for another time for something else.

The code I have been using for over a year now (they change from time to time) is 0844 720 0000

All you do is dial that number and follow the prompts (which will be to enter the number you would like to dial, in this case 001-407.....etc) followed by # key.

You pay 1p per minute so if you end up on hold for a long time at least you aren't sweating £1 coins by the minute.

Hi Lee

I've seen only little bits about access codes, but not sure how they work.

How do you pay for call if you were using a mobile?

Can you use this method for calling UK mobile to UK mobile when in the USA?

Thanks as always

Nikki, I don't know anything much about your mobile options in the US with UK mobiles as I just take mine and pay the roaming charge for the calls, turn off voicemail and ignore it if a call comes in :rotfl:

The access code I posted is for using a landline in the UK (so your BT or equivalent). You dial the number and you will be given prompts to enter the one you wish to call, as in my above post.

All that happens is that you are connnected to your international call through this number.

So on your phone bill you will see something like "Special Service" next to the call description and, in this case at 1 p per minute, if you spoke for 30 minutes, there will be 30 p against the item.

There are special numbers that allow you to call via access code from a mobile but I haven't looked into them or tried them so I can't report back on that. The landline ones work fine. Nothing to them and you pay what you see on your call timer on the phone.

What the call costs from mobiles using the access codes anyway - you might want to check with your provider first.
