Phoning Ft. Wilderness?

I'm going to be stay at a cabin at Ft. Wilderness in April, and would like to call and talk to someone in the check-in area before then. I'm seeing a phone number on wdwinfo.com of (407) 824-2900. Does anyone know if that phone number actually goes to the resort, or if it goes to some sort of central location that handles all the resorts? I don't want to call and think I'm talking to someone who's actually there, when I'm not really.

Yes, all published numbers for the resorts go to a call center. The CM will answer "Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort", but they are not physically located at the resort.

Speak with the call center representative about your concerns, and they may be able to help you, or may (possibly) be able to put you in touch with someone at the resort.

Ok, that's what I was thinking. :laughing: It's an issue with checking in, and me being the one who has a discount and needing to show a card, but me getting there the morning after my friends will get there. (I can't get there on the same day because I have to work.) I'm just trying to see if we'll have a problem with that, so I'd like to talk to someone at the resort.

I can call and see if they can transfer me, but first, is there anyone that actually has a phone number for it? They have to have a phone! :lmao:
 
I just called the regular Ft. Wilderness call center number, and she put me on hold and then came back and said she spoke with someone at check-in and they said to call back 3 days prior to check-in and they would note on the reservation that I would be there the next day with the card, and that it will be ok. Hopefully that's the case, and it really will be. I'd just hate for them to have trouble checking in, or for us to have to pay extra that we weren't planning on. But I don't think there's anything else that I can do, so I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope it all goes smoothly.
