Phone # for BDL in Hartford, CT?

Does anyone know who I would call at BDL in Hartford, CT to find out how early I have to be at the airport for at 6:00AM flight on Nov 10th? I really don't want to be there for 4:00am if I don't have to as I have an hour drive to the airport already. I'm flying Delta and have Etickets and plan on carrying on my 1 bag only so no check-in.

Also, is it true for Delta that because I have Etickets and will not be checking a bag, I can just go right to the security check-in line??? Then I have to go to the counter at the gate for my actual paper ticket-right? Any help would be appreciated!

you would be better off going to the delta site, as that is where they are going to send you anyway. I flew out the 14th and was there one hour before departure without any problems at all. Used the skycap (thank goodness they are back!!!!!) and went straight to the gate.

We flew Delta out of BDL on 10/13. We were on a 7am flight and arrived there at 5am. We needed EVERY MINUTE of those 2 hours. I don't know if it's just that flight or what, but we waited to check bags in forever, then when that was done, we waited forever to go through security. We sat down at the gate for about 5 minutes before boarding.

We had etickets too, and I think you still have to check in at the front counter before you go to the gate - I think regardless of whether or not you're checking bags.

And - be careful of what you pack...they confiscated my toenail clippers! And they don't even have a file!

If you use the skycaps with an eticket, you can avoid the counter completely. I was there the 14th and saw no lines at all for any airline that departed from the AA terminal. I was the only one checking my bags at curbside ( and I do mean only one for all the airlines). I guess it is the luck of the draw.

Wow! I'm jealous! The line I referred to was for Curbside checkin! There must have 100 or so families standing outside on the sidewalk, waiting for 3 or 4 skycaps! I guess it is luck of the draw!
