Phone calls?

Does anyone else's SO/DH/DW call you at work just so they can argue with themselves?

Allen calls me to argue with himself. He'll call to ask me something, then he'll answer his own question, then he'll argue with himself until he can determine if that's the answer he was looking for. It's very annoying, and I enjoy telling him it's annoy.

Laurie, you're lucky. A lady I work with heard my end of the conversation and she started cussing. She said she knew exactly what was going on, her dh does it to her too.

My husband calls me at work when he can't make a decision about common sense type stuff, drives me nuts!!
My 16 yr old calls me at work because she's bored and says I'm fun to talk to.
My 9 yr old calls me at work to tell me he's still hungry after eating!
My 20 yr old calls me at oddball hrs and leaves singing messages (she's in college).

I have to hang up on my husband all the time because he will just sit there and say nothing!! I hung up on him yesterday after telling him his time was up.

My DH calls me to ask me common sense stuff and it makes me nuts. He calls to ask if he should buy soda cause it's on sale, or cereal (which I don't eat). It's amazing that this man can make huge financial decisions at his job but can't decide to buy soda or cereal! LOL!

No. DH knows not to call me at work unless it's really, really important. I am probably in a minority on this subject, but I really feel that the phone at work should be just that...for work, not for personal calls. I have been at my current job for nearly 7 years and I don't think DH has called me more than half a dozen times. There is one girl that I work with, her family is constantly calling her and I am the one who answers the phone so it's very annoying. She gets at the minimum 6-8 calls per night (between 3:00 - 8:00). One time I told her to get a cell phone. She said she had one, so the next day she did bring it, but only for that day. Personally, I think she should have a pager then when her idiot family members want to talk to her, SHE is the only one who has to be bothered by them!!!
