Look into Winner car service (Winner airport parking to be precise), I use them every time I fly out of Philly. I can expense the indoor garage parking @ the AP and I'll still use Winner.
Winner is about the same cost as economy, but with curb side service.
We are possibly having to do this for our trip in July. How do they work as far as picking up and dropping off? Do we go there and drop off our car and get a shuttle to the airport when leaving and when we come back do we get a shuttle back over like you would at the hotels? Is there a way for them to pick up in your car and you just give your CC # to bill or do we have to go back there once we land? Also, are they 24 hours 7 days? We are flying out on 4th of July and our flight home arrives at 9:30pm on Saturday July 14th.
Thanks for any information as this will be our first time using this kind of service.
We did the bus thing a few years ago...NEVER AGAIN.
We use Pacifico also. It could not be easier - you arrive there about 30 minutes before you need to be at the airport. You simply park in front of the little 'airport shuttle' building, go in and let them know you want to keep your vehicle there. They quickly assign a driver, who drives you and your vehicle back to the airport. You'll be dropped off at your gate, and the driver takes your car back to Pacifico, where it's kept in a secure lot.
When you arrive back at PHL, you give them a call and they come and pick you up in your vehicle right outside the baggage claim area. You all go back to Pacifico, pay your bill, and off you go.
They are GREAT. Open 24 hours a day and they give you a AAA discount.
Aampco works a little differently than Pacifico. You drive your car to their gated and secure parking lot and park your own car. You take the ticket at the gate and a small bus picks you up in the parking lot. It takes no more than a few minutes to get to the airport and drop you at your gate. We usually get there one-half hour before we want to be at the airport. Once you return to PHL, you just call the service and it meets you right outside. It only takes about 15 minutes and they take you back to your car. They are open 24/7. We like to lock our own car and keep our keys. We feel more comfortable with no one else driving our car.
Winner works the same way as Pacifico, but if you pay them an extra $10, when they bring the car back to the airport to pick you up, you can just leave from there and you don't have to drive the driver back to the office.
I've always wanted to try one of these but then I think of Ferris Bueller's Day Off and I think I'd rather lock my car and deal with the economy lot and bus.
