I know Phineas and Ferb are meeting in Hollywood Studios near Mama Melrose. How close is this to where Lightening McQueen and Mater meet? (I assume those two are still out) I remember coming out of Muppets 3d and seeing Mater and Lightening McQueen and I am thinking the Phineas and Ferb area is near there, right? I am just having trouble picturing it.

Also is the Phineas and Ferb line typically a long line? I figure they are popular but is the line unbearable like Rapunzel or more manageable?

TIA!

You can view the other line (P&F or Cars) from whichever one you are standing in. In other words, they are right next to each other.

The P&F line gets pretty long... maybe not "early Rapunzel" long, but it seemed to stay at 45+ minutes while we were there in early October.

As the PP mentioned the meet/ greets are right next to each other - I don't remember seeing the cars line from P/F because P/F is set further forward. In fact it's worth noting if it does rain they move "the boys" into a theater that is just past the Cars meeting area.

When we were there in early September the lines were not bad at all. They had a fun 'show' by a director that kept everyone entertained - I hope they didn't do away with it!

The show was still there in late Sept and Early Oct as well. It was really neat. We went about 10am one day (P&F came out at 9am) and waited about 15 minutes. One thing that really effects the line and makes it longer is when Muppets lets out, if the line is shorter when Muppets lets out alot of people will get into line inflating the wait times. It can be slower in between Muppet shows (while the show is going on) and in the morning.

We waited no more than 10 minutes last week. After the 50 minute wait for Buzz/Woody, this short line was a treat.

Ds wasn't feeling well the day we were in DHS and couldn't handle the long wait for P&F. We did do Mater and McQueen b/c that line goes fast (they don't have to sign anything! lol). Dh went missing when we were going to lunch and we ended up finding him singing along to the little show they do in the P&F line! lol

We were there a few weeks ago, and went there first thing in the a.m., at about 9:45. We were the only ones there for a LONG time! Everyone else (like my husband) were either getting fast passes for TSM or RnRC or TOT. It was a high priority for my kids, and I wanted to ensure that it "got done". I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It was very cute and fun. We were in a skit, and it wasn't even too bad for us parents. As soon as the Muppets' show let out the line tripled. That is not a good time to get in line!
The Phineas and Ferb area is to the left of Lightning McQueen and Mater. My boys love Cars, but their meet and greet is very disappointing. There's no interaction with the cars, and they don't do much but rev their engines loudly. We didn't even go there this year.

Cool! They are on our list for sure for our next trip! Do they sign autographs?

Do they have meet and greet earlier on EMH mornings?

No unfortunately not, but P&F is one of those things that not alot of people are lining up for until they come out. Heading over around normal opening time for them to come out should get you a visit with little wait during most 'normal' times of the year. ******excluding holidays and special events, I feel like one of those care commercials with the disclaimer at the end

yes they both do and currently if you have photopass there are some 'bonus' P&F photos on the card if you have a P&F session. Also the pre-show with the director is fun and some kids and parents get picked to participate and our photopass photog was snapping away like crazy during those, it's random but may be another opportunity for a great memory.

Thanks for the early morning idea Phineas and ferb Is a must do for DS 11 Purely for the fun of it.
Nov 9th "hey DS what gonna do today see Phineas and Ferb !":cool1:

I really wanted to meet them this past trip. I was only at HS (on a 2.5 day trip) one morning, for EMH, and it didn't open until 9:30 (park opened at 8 am). I got over there, after doing the TSM a couple of times, at 9:45 and the line was out of this world long! As in, looping around this turnstile 4 times, craziness! There is a cute show, so I took pics of the show and called it a day.

I really wanted to go up and say "Hey guys, whatcha doing?" :(

We tried on several occasions last week and the wait was at least a half hour each time. Just one of those things we will have to do on our next visit.

Thanks to you all! My plan is to ride TSM, then get a FP for it, then go over to find Phineas and Ferb. Hopefully the line won't be too long but we would definitely wait 30 minutes to see them, it is high priority on my kids list!

I feel almost gulity WE walked right in to see them on Oct. 8th or 9th. Granted it was raining and not exactly warm.
