Any thought on which might be a better trip for 6 year olds? I'm leaning towards taking my kids to the Franklin Institute, but haven't been to either one.

Never been to either, but I do have a 6 year old...and anything with the words "Please Touch" sounds right up her alley. :lmao:

Right now, the Franklin Institute has the King Tut exhibit, so if your child has any interest in mummies, this may be a good time to go.

The PT Museum definitely seems like it is geared for a younger group, and I was thinking that 6 year olds might get bored there after a short time.

If they start acting up, you could always take them over to the Mutter Museum. That'll give them some nightmares for awhile! :rotfl:

The Franklin Institute! They have a section called the "Sports Challenge" that is basically a room of interactive sports related things. My 2 boys LOVED this area. They were older than 6, but there were plenty of young children in that area having the time of their lives.

I am definitely voting for The Please touch Museum.
My 5 year old Nephew BEGS me to take him here all the time, he has such a ball there!!!!
