Unless I'm double counting posts, so far we have 6 posters from Philly, 16 posters who would use Philadelphia as a reference point when telling someone from outside the region where they live.

My husband and I were born and raised in Northeast Philly. We have been transferrd to Virginina, but visit family as much as we can. We have to get our fill of Lee's Hoagies, Steve's Steak Sandwiches and Greenman's chocolate shakes. There is nothing as good as Philly food except for DVC!!!

We're from Doylestown. 20 or so miles North of Philly. DH and I grudgingly agreed to take our daughter to WDW after her college graduation for our first time ever. We were touched by the magic, joined the club and are returning in August for our 3rd trip in a year and a half. This will be our first time at our home resort, BCV. Anybody else from D-town?

4 of us here in Downingtown. Me, DW, and 2 DS. DW & I went alone in January so I could get a better feeling of what it's like to experience the magic. Boy did I. I made the decision to sign up for DVC. My DW put up no fight at all. We're going back in October with the kids. I don't like summer that much as it is, but I really don't like summer now because it's in the way of our trip! Move over summer!

I grew up in Southampton, PA (Bucks County) and my wife is from Far NE Philadelphia (Normandy section). We lived there for 38 years. We are now in SNOW country in upstate NY near Syracuse.

From the Poconos. I actually saw a DVC member license plate the other day and started chanting DVC DVC to the car. They looked at me funny then laughed when they figured out what I was chanting. I also seen a personalized plate about WDW and a few of those licence plate cover things that say "Walt Disney World. Been there,done that,going back"
