I am typing this from disney quest is downtown disney. Philharmagic was in soft open on the 22nd and 23rd for the general public. It was fantastic! Back to basic disney songs and great effects. A must see.

Thanks! Hope we get to see it on the 7th!

It was also open today! It is AWESOME!!! :0) Had we not been in a hurry, we would have gone twice!!! I am so glad it was open today! Yipee! :0)

It was in soft opening on the 28th, we saw it with our 3 yr old. It was great.

Do they have an expected date to leave it open permanently? I'm guessing soft open means in the testing phase!

I was able to visit the attraction 4 times during my stay. During my stay it would never open before 11:00am. It was open on Monday and Tuesday and then again on Saturday during the week of the 27th. On Saturday it did not open until about 4:00pm. They are still trying to get some of the effects (I'm not telling what they are or it will ruin it for you) timed out right. On Monday the Imagineers were there who designed the attraction and I got to spend some time talking to one of them. Unfortunately I can't remember his name. He stated he had been on the project for 2 years. He was very interested on any feedback he could get. Needless to say I shook his hand multiple times for an outstanding job. The fastpass wasn't on because there is no anouncement of the attraction being open. I believe the official opening isn't until October 8th. No one in the park will tell if you if it's open or not you just have to go see. Most people on Monday just walked right by it not knowing what was going on. By Saturday the word was out and there was a bit of a line but still not much. I now have a favorite attraction at MK. Can you guess what it is.

Just got back last night and we missed the two days it was open. It was down the rest of the time. A cast member told us they were having a lot of techincal problems, the music and movements were not matching up.
They told us it is a must see - will have to wait till next year:(

When we were there last week, it was open on Monday and Tuesday from 1-5 in the afternoon. There was a large blue sign at the information stand displaying the hours. There are Fastpass machines set up, but they were not being used. We saw the show, and it was great!
