My husband has had a busy month as far as business travel goes. He has been to California (meh) New York (eh) Connecticut (yawn) and he just landed in Philadelphia. He sent me a text, something about the airline sending the luggage to a different terminal and something about stuck cargo doors on the plane.
However, all I could think about was the fact that he's in Philadelphia- home to TASTYKAKES!!!! Nervermind about stuck cargo doors or wayward luggage. I just wanted to be clear that he understood I expect him to fill his luggage with Tastykakes for the return flight.![]()

If not I will have to find a fairy to take care of that fix. Gosh we drove to Allentown from up here few weeks ago and had Popeye's. Next door was a Philly pretzle factory, I brought home 50 and froze them for about $22.
Tasty Kakes have gone up in $$$ so rediculous. I remember buying for 50 cents not long agon, and now for a pie it is $1.
When the boxes of Kream filled or the Butterscotch Krimpets are on sale I will buy as a treat.
Last trip to Philly we stopped for steaks and also it $$$$ I could not believe it.
Have you tried cutting a flank or whatever it is they cut and cooking up the peppers and onions? Add Wiz, or wizless.... I use a marinara for those that want the sauce, and just Heinz ketchup.
All in the rolls, find a tasty fresh baked steak roll.
Hope he finds a way to get the Kakes....
