Oh, Dave, my condolences as well. Please take care of yourself.

. I needed some inspiration to get back out there.
!! Once again, I think we had carbon copy runs yesterday.
. Get home safely, and no training in odd spots, kay? Sorry to hear about that beat 1/2 marathon. All that way & no medal???? Where's the motivation
? And yes, you're right, sounds like we had duplicate runs, once again. It was just awful, I can't believe Dave went 18 in that weather.
over my shoulder if he saw that! How does your bod feel today?

. I didn't know you were that quick, now I don't think i can talk to you either. Soon I'll be talking to myself on these boards (just like in real life)!
Happy birthday to your DD, are your parents still in town?
. I have these race ready shorts that I jam full o' stuff when I go on my LRs, too. Sometimes I think I eat too much gu out there. Oh well. I don't take $ or ID, but cell phone & TP are on my list as well. Nice run & pace on that 18 miler, I want to cry when my Garmin dies on me in the middle of a LR. Either that or I swear profusely!!
Waiting for an update
, 30 CT Fri & 8 miles Sat. Sounds pretty easy once tomorrow's stupid fast stuff is out of the way.[BColleen - Are you able to walk today? How's that ITB thingie feel? So much for rest days & taking time offWaiting for an update.

Jodi - Now let's not go getting all attitudy! Sucking wind is sucking wind no matter what the pace. We're all going at it as hard as we can.Mikenow I don't think i can talk to you either. I have 18 planned for this weekend )thought about doing it today or tomorrow, but Jodi gave me my marching orders to rest, so rest I shall!
. I am considering it a reverse taper
. I don't remember the last time I haven't run three days in a row. I knew you'd be posing the iPod question.
I was okay without one for Grandma's but I also enjoy mine immensely for the distraction. I don't want to think about how much it hurts when I'm at 20 miles. I say rest the quad and stretch it whenever you can. The massage has to be great for it.
.
.
, like not having any!! Overslept for my speedwork this a.m., so I guess it's this afternoon, if not, I'll do it tomorrow which is supposed to be a rest day
. Can you say lazy??
. Puh-lease, 3 days in a row??? That's crazy
An 8:41 pace for a little over 2 miles. That's as good as it gets!

.
. Great pace. I hope you're not feeling it today
. The iPod is a serious motivator when you need it to be. I'm sure you'll be addicted soon.
. I am going to try to bang out 20 on Saturday since I am leaving for WDW next weekend.

Take it easy, especially if you body is upset with you.
not because my knee/leg hurt, but I just didn't have any get up and go this morning. I am planning to run 18 this weekend, but I may wait until Sunday morning.
You are welcome to join our merry band, but I am sure you will be get antsy and want to take off, you are so speedy.
20 miles Sat, zoiks! Be careful with that bod, try & relax in Disney & just carboload
Maybe hit an elliptical a few times, but you'll be on your feet walking so much that I'd give the running thing a week off, enjoy your vacation w/o worrying about "training". I guarantee any one of us on these boards could run a marathon next weekend (if we prepared mentally
). I don't think there's much more we can do at this point. Have fun @ Daughtry tonight. I have tix to see Genesis on Sun. night!
.
. Glad you are pain free. Good luck on the 18 miles this weekend
. The weather should be optimal for a sweet run
!! Daughtry is more eye-candy (kind of like an MCM warmup). Definitely bring your iPod although you'll have 30,000 other people to strike up a conversation with if need be
.
