We went to the annual passholders review yesterday. I must say that my wife and I really enjoyed this show. It seems that this is one of Disneys most aggressive umpteenth D show yet. The sights and smells were fantastic! We saw it once, went back and saw it again. This show will be very popular, and if you get a chance, its a must see. Sort of brings a lot of Disney shows together in a very funny story. Again, I think everybody will enjoy the graphics.

Thanks for the review. I can't wait to see it myself soon. :)

I have a questions for you Dumbo33. My son and i were supposed to be there for the AP event yesterday, but didn't make it. He *is* nervous about seeing this. He didn't like Honey I Shrunk the Audience. A few yrs ago he didnt' like ITTBAB at AK. However, the mupputs was ok for him. How does this new show compare to those?? Are there alot of special effects that come out of or under the seats? I think that's what bothers him the most! Thanks for your help!!:D

We just got home from viewing it and I must say it was the sharpest 3-D film I ever saw. It did seem kind of "flat" to me though in spots.

My overall feeling is that it was cute and not great. My son (7 years old) on the other hand loved it. He was smiling and laughing the whole time.

The overall show is very "kid-friendly", no snakes, bugs, etc. ala HISTA and ITTBAB.
Are there alot of special effects that come out of or under the seats?
No, most of the effects are smellls and blasts of air (some water). There are also alot of lighting effects to match what is happening on the screen.

Hi Goofy, I think your son will ike this one. there are no hidden things coming out. Just the air that brings the wind and smells, and some water. He will like the tie in for all the shows. Don't worry abou tthis show with him, he will love it.

For your review,we are hoping to see this new attraction on our December visit.:earsboy:  :earsgirl: :sunny:

Thanks Dumbo33 and Dznefreek!! I just read your posts to my ds and he was very happy to hear that (and so was I;) ) Next time we go for a day trip, we'll have to catch it now, no fears!! Thanks again!

:D

I doubt anyone would find the show frightening, though I was reminded of the slingshot in ITTBAB when the corks popped and that did scare my little nephew. I think most people will love it especially those who love all things Disney.

Saw it today, and it was great! The first time it went off without a hitch. The second time through, there was a problem with the "3-d" part. They finally, shut it down, and when we left at 4, it was still closed. I loved the smells!

I guess we got lucky today, We went at 1 and walked right in, the theatre was less than 1/2 full, Then we walked right in again around 5, but theatre was about 85% full.

The show was great, it is a HAPPY show, it just makes you smile as you watch it. This is going to be an extremely popular show, so use fastpass when it opens. I did feel sorry for all the Non-Ap guests that were being turned away.

Today was an odd day at the park, Space Mountain/Race Cars were walk on rides, but Peter Pan was 50 minutes long.

George

Thanx for the review ~ Can't wait to see it next month.

It is the best 3-d show I've seen yet. Disney pulled out all the stops to make this one a great show. Everybody is going to love it.

I got to see it yesterday and I thought it was great. The use of 3d on past Disney characters was pretty cool and the movie was well put together. My sister-in-law usually avoids anything that requires 3d glasses but she really enjoyed this movie. I definately recommend it. :)

I love the tie-ins to movies, and am really looking forward to seeing it during our October trip. Hmmm maybe they could open it during MNSSHP!

Thanks for the reviews!! I'm really looking forward to seeing it at the end of October!

How long will the AP preview be going on? We will be in WDW Thursday through Sunday. Will we be able to catch this? (We are AP holders). Do we need to make any advance arrangements?

We saw it Saturday and LOVED it!! The onlt thing we didn't like was the HUGE line afterwards to buy the pins! I'm not sure how long the AP preview is going on, but I know that earlier in the week it was a CM only preview...

We loved it! My DD is also afraid of Honey, I Shrunk the Audience and Tough to be a Bug, but she loved this one. Nothing scary at all!

Cast Previews were tues-fri. AP previews were Sat and Sun only. They're still finishing the attraction, which will open officially on October 8th.
