Phase I vs. Grandevillas at Cypress Pointe

I am searching for some comparison information. I have found a lot of cypress pointe reviews on this site. But what exactly are the differences between the two parts of the resort? I made a reservation here; but they cannot guarantee that I will be placed in the Grande Villas. From what I read; Phase I doesn't sound too appealing. Any information would be greatly appreciated. My trip is in two weeks so if I am going to make changes I need to make them fast.

Hi lisamichelle and welcome to the DIS!

No doubt in your searches here you've ran into some of my threads regarding Cypress Pointe. We have gone there for many years and really enjoy the resort.

Phase 1 has just undergone major renovations and I think if you can't get in the Grandevillas you'll still be pleased with Phase 1.
