Phantom Riviera Availability?

Saw this morning that 4 nights at Riviera 1BR SV was showing as available in August. Called MS to book but the room was not showing as available to MS. CM said that since Riviera is still not sold out and inventory is still not fully yet released, rooms may show as available to members on the DVC website when they’re actually not available. Seems like a cruel torture for members. Anyone run into this issue before?

Seems like this might be a website glitch not unique to RIV - I had the same experience last week when trying to switch my reservation from SSR to Boardwalk - was literally looking at Boarwalk 2 bd availability when I finally got off hold and got a CM but she couldn't see it. When I tried again it was gone, so either someone happened to book it in the same 30 seconds or it was a glitch.
