As Jim says you can't have your pet in your
DVC room.
Spicey loves FW kennel, I also like Epcot kennels - don't like Studio or AK - not enough room to walk your pet at these places.
the kennel cost $9 overnight stay for WDW guests - off-site guest $11 for overnight stay.
You HAVE to walk your pet - if you decide to use a WDW kennel. the one at Epcot will walk them once a day for $2.50 extra a day. But they still need you to come and walk your pet.
Spicey gets 3 to 5 walks a day - when we stay there.
If the kennel is closed and you want to visit, walk, or take your pet home - you can just call the security guards - there is generally a number on the door to call.
your pet MUST have all their vacanations to stay in the inside part.
here the information from this site

there are also local kennels at Orlando, Kissimmee to board your pet.
Spicey likes to walk after dark (he is a cat) and most of the local kennel close at 5:00pm.
there is a new timeshare Celebration World Resort - it is RCI (not II) that accepts pets!!! we have stayed there twice.
